Hello - my name is Amani! I started my business in 2017 as a local macaron baker and cake decorator. I discovered the art of cookie decorating at the end of 2019 which led me to where I am today. I am no longer offering cakes as I have fully submerged myself into the beautiful world of cookies!
Ever since I was a little girl, I always had an interest in baking as well as in art. I loved discovering recipes, mixing a bunch of ingredients together, watching science bring it all together, and feeding it to my family. I also very much enjoyed sitting in my quiet room and painting/drawing. I would sketch anything in sight from my violin to my neighbors house outside my bedroom window. Sometimes trying to create realistic drawings and other times in the mood to create fun colorful doodles. The cookie decorating world allows me to do these two things that I love, at the same time. My cookies are edible pieces of art that I put my all into. From the flavors and textures of the cookies to the aesthetics. I’ve even been able to incorporate a third interest into my work - technology. The tech world has always been intriguing considering that I grew up during the tech boom. I have a degree in computer science which I’ve been able to use to really step up my cookie game. I have a 3D printer that I use to design and create custom cookie cutters. Having access to endless cookie shapes has allowed me to really take custom cookies to a whole new level!
